Language Stay in Malta 2026

This year, over 90 students travelled to Malta to practice English while having a great time experiencing a different culture. We went to ESE (European School of English) in St. Julian’s, Malta. The teachers at the school did a great job, and they were very competent and friendly. In our lessons we practiced speaking, grammar, reading, writing and listening, and played some games too!

Over the two weeks we had the opportunity to take part in many different activities organised by the school, such as a boat trip to Comino to see the blue lagoon. We also did a buggy adventure in Gozo, played paintball in the countryside, went scuba diving and had a group dinner on a sandy beach. We could also organise our own activities during our free time, and we decided to watch fireworks in Valletta, play laser tag and bowling, and go go-karting.

On one day after our lessons, we went to an illusion museum, and another day we went to Golden Bay beach. Two of our group had drones and flew them over the boat trip to make videos and memories of our trip. We visited memorials and saw a cannon shooting demonstration in Valletta. It is a very beautiful historic city! We also enjoyed a day trip to M’dina, which is a well-known fortress city and the filming location of Game of Thrones.

Overall, we had an amazing experience in St. Julian’s and the other places, and are grateful that we got to participate in a cool language exchange like this!
